My work does not let my sync my Dell PDA at work so i am
forced to export my calendar from work, email it home and
import it into my personal machine and then sync.
Work is running Office XP and I have Office 2003 at
home. I have noticed recently that my calendars are not
identical. It seems that when i import the calendar into
my Outlook 2K3, some appointments do not even show up,
others are in teh wrong months because the computer has
switched the months and days around. An example is a
date set for October 6th, being 10/06/04, however Outlook
2003 is interpreting it as June 10th 2004. I checked my
home computers regional options and they are set
correctly to match my work PC. Interesting though is
that the above appointment has an end date of the same
day at work, however my home PC places an end date
completely different.
So confused. I have recently updated home machine to XP
SP2, and am noticing it now, however am only starting to
use this more recently so maybe it did happen in the past.
