Import Files

I've got a odd question for you. I just recently changed computers and
reinstalled my FP2000 in my new computer. When I open the web on my
computer, I cannot import any files. Yet, when I open the web site live, I
can import any file I want. Any ideas why I can't import files on my own
computer. The error message says I need webmaster approval. Thanks.

How did you set up the site on your new computer? Have you tried
recalculating hyperlinks?

The web is actually on my "C" drive. I cannot import from my own computer
to my Frontpage on my computer. Odd isn't it?

I just found an interesting aspect. I can import files like graphics, it is
only MS Access Database that I cannot import. A new twist.

Is the Access file over 1 MB in size?

Yes it is. The file is about 3 MB size. I did have a problem with import
with my Win98 but I do with WinXP Pro.

This is a recent issue for users of Windows XP and disk-based webs, where you can not import files
over 1 MB in size. We are not sure which Windows / IE Update made this change, but there is current
no solution.

If you are working locally with a server-based web (http://localhost) under Windows XP Pro, then you
should not have this problem.
