import from excel to access 2000

I want to export data from an Excel spreadsheet into
corresponding fields in Access. Thus creating 400 plus
records for asset inventory. How can this be done?

Your options are:

Go to File Get External Data and
a) link to the worksheet
b) import the worksheet

Or,

programatically use the function TransferSpreadsheet (see Help file)
