Import from excel

Hi,

I'm trying to import an excel file into and existing
table. The first field in the table is an auto-number
field and I get an error message "trying to import a null
value into an auto-number field". The first column of my
excel file are all blank. How can I import the file?
What do I need to do with the first column to be able to
import into an auto-number field in my table?
