The directions seem clear on how to do this. 1. export from iCal, 2. Control click file in finder, export to Entourage. But for some reason this doesn't work for me. I see lots of discussions about synching between the two programs, but I only want to use Entourage (not both) so don't need to synch just import the calendar into Entourage, but no luck.

How about turning sync on once to synchronize, then turning it off and never
using it again?

Remember, however, that to sync events from iCal, they must all be in a
calendar named Entourage.
