can I import old lotus .pre or .prz into powerpoint?

I don't know what .pre format is, but you can convert a .prz Freelance Graphics presentation into PPT format from within Lotus SmartSuite. Version 9.8.0 is available from resellers like tekdeal.com inexpensively, although IBM is now on version 9.8.2. Some bullet builds may be lost (for example, PPT does not support dimming the previous bullets without manually creating a custom animation); and the two programs have different sets of page transitions, so they'll probably need to be reconstructed, too; and FLG supports a wider range of embedded multi-media formats, and I have no idea what happens to those. But by and large, the conversion works pretty well. But you have to do it from within SmartSuite.

If you only want to view the presentation, you can download a free viewer from Lotus (I think).
