Hi

i have some problems importing my .pst file from Microsoft Outlook
2003 (Windows) into Microsoft Entourage 2008.

I read some post indicanting Riches guide:

-installing Thunderbird in Windows
- importing .pst in Thunderbird,
- Exporting mail folders
- Converting into .mbox
- copying into Mac

I'm not able to import in Entourage, because if I simply select
an .mbox file and drag it to Entourage icon, nothing appens; if I use
the import command in Entourage the .mbox files are unselectable (they
are grey)... I tried also to create a new identity... but nothing
happens...

Someone can suggest a solution?

Thank you very much

Depends on what kind of mailbox he has, if it's an Exchange mailbox, connect
to it using OL, put all PST data in the mailbox, connect to it using
Entourage it will sync all data down in local database, he is all set then.

If other than Exchange, then we wrote a tool for Outlook 2001 based PST,
it's here:
http://www.microsoft.com/Australia/...d=9B95CFE2-EA2B-4088-AF2C-2FD497E2A6F8#viewer

You can use that like this:
http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2007/08/importing_from_outlook_for_win.html
.... he will need this:
http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2007...eader_migrates_from_outlook_to_entourage.html
& Outlook 2001, it's available on version tracker, but will still need a
machine that can run it! - major issue if his hardware does not have or
support Classic ...

Other options: http://www.entourage.mvps.org/cross_platform/win_mac.html

Hope that helps,

Pawan

Try dragging the MBOX file into the folder list view of the Entourage
window. A new folder should appear with the messages in the MBOX file.
