Import or Reverse Engineer SQL files in Visio??

Sean

Hey, I am new to Visio (Enterprise).

I can generate my oracle sql from a Database Model Diagram but I can't
figure out how to import the sql into Visio. The reverse engineer only
lets me pick a datasource. Is there anyway to reverse engineer a sql
file?

Thanks to anyone who responds.

VEA will not directly reverse engineer SQL DDL. A workaround would be to use
that DDL to make a database someplace and then reverse engineer from that.

HTH,
Scot.

Thanks, that's too bad. My problem now is that when I reverse engineer
it through an Oracle managed ODBC connection it imports all these
wacky types and then won't generate a ddl because I have 143 errors on
something Visio itself just generated!
