I need to import my messages from Outlook express on my old desktop to
Outlook 2007 on my laptop. Laptop does not have Outlook Express. I have
saved the Express messages on a memory stick, appearing with a windows icon
for each folder. Not sure how to get those messages transferred into Outlook
so I can have an historical archive for my business. Help Please...

You need to connect the msg store to either Express or Windows Mail on your
new PC before you can then export them to Outlook

You should install the Outlook Express or Windows Mail, then drag eml
files to the OE or WM folder. After that you will be able to use Outlook
importing functions and filters to transfer emails from OE(WM) to
Outlook.
OR
You can use the Outlook Import Wizard (see my sign):
1. Create the structure of directories on your hard drive
2. Organize eml and/or msg file in directories
3. Then import eml and msg files to Outlook preserving the folders
structure

Err no. Export FROM Windows Mail or OE do NOT import FROM WM or OE.
The reason? If you import within Outlook the Modified date of every message
you import gets changed to the date of import. Outlook uses the Modified
Date for archiving purposes amongst others so importing throws that out.
