import powerpoint 2007 graphic into publisher 2007 & then pdf

Hi,

I have a graphic made in powerpoint 2007. I can paste-special as picture(enhanced metafile) and in the publisher 2007 it looks fine. When I use the microsoft application to save as pdf, the graphic gets distorted with the shaded boxes (those going from black to gray to white) appearing all black. How can I fix this?

Are you using transparency? Can you not create the shapes in Publisher?

Publisher has problems with transparency. Copy the box, paste special as a .png.
