Import: Problem on "Predecessor" field.

E

Emmanuel REGIS

Hi,

I import a excel file in MSP 2007:
N° Task name Delay Predecessor
1 T1 1
2 T2 1 1
3 T3 1 2
4 T4 1 5
5 T5 1

After import, the predecessor #5 change to #6 in MSP.
The problem becomes the predecessor number (here #5) is after the current
task N° (here #4).
Have you got this problem ?

Thanks a lot for your response,
Emmanuel.

PS: Excuse me, I'm French and my english is bad... Bonjour to US )

Hi Emmanuel,

I met a similar issue while importing the Predecessors column in the map:
when a task had several predecessors, all its predecessors disappeared.
Try a Copy/Paste?

I tried it and it worked perfectly for me using Project 2007 SP2. There were
problems importing predecessors in earlier releases of Project 2007 so make
sure you are using the latest Service Pack.

I'm using Project Pro 2007 + SP2 + Dec CU
