Import Question

Hi,

Is there a way to selectively import information from a pst file? I want to
import only the "Notes" from an old pst file...how do I do that without
importing the e-mail, contacts, or appointments?

Thanks, Rick

No do not import. I would do it like this - start Outlook and then open the
pst file (file | Open | Outlook Data File.)

Then select the Contacts and drag them into the Folder you want them in. No
need to import from Outlook to Outlook.

No need to import from Outlook to Outlook.

Or even the Notes!

Excellent, I hadn't thought of something that simple. Thanks!

YW, but for future reference you will save yourself a lot of heartache by
NOT using the import
/export function to move data from one Outlook to another.....it can cause
all sorts of problems...
