import slides from another project

Friends,

I am trying to do two things:

a) import slides from one PowerPoint project into another project, while at
the same time maintaining the formatting that existed in the project from
which the slides are being imported;

b) import the Slide Master into one PowerPoint project from another project,
and maintain the Master format that existed in the project from which I am
importing the slide.

Are either of these two actions possible?

You left out the most important detail. What version of PowerPoint are you
using?

You're right. It is PowerPoint 2000 ... any way to accomplish what I'm
trying to accomplish?

PowerPoint 2000 doesn't allow multiple templates. For some ideas, see:
