I am currently taking access in my homework assignment I created a table and
then I had to import a spreadsheet from excel. When I imported the
spreadsheet the Import Spreadsheet wizard popped up I check the first name
headings box and then the next step I import into a new table next the fields
pop up there are 8 fields I have to delete the spaces in the two letter ones
it will let me do the first one but not the others. My teachers thinks it
might be my source file my version of office is the 2003 Professional
Edition. Maybe my option settings ?

I believe your import woes are related to possibly not having Service Pack 1 for Office 2003
installed. Is this your own personal PC or one that is owned by the school you attend? If it is
your PC, have you installed Service Pack 1 for Office 2003? I'm still using Office 2002 myself,
so I cannot easily reproduce what you are describing. The KB article:

you can modify the field information for only the first field that is on the fourth page of the
Import Spreadsheet Wizard or the Import Text Wizard. Reason The problem is related to both the
Import Spreadsheet Wizard and the Import Text Wizard."
