Import Tables in Word document to Access?

Is this possible?? Google has turned up nothing but the opposite (Access
tables to Word docs via Mail merge)...

The easiest way is to click in the table and then click Table on the menu,
Select - Table. Copy and paste append in a new Access table.

Hi Karl,

Doesn't seem to work - can't paste the table, and pasting to a new table
only gets one row, not to mention manually defining the fields. <sigh>

Copy/paste to Notepad then import works but is incredibly time-consuming
(100+ to bring in before I can even begin to work with the data)

Have you tried saving the Word document as a TXT file and moving throught
Excel to Access?

Yes, the problem is it's not all tables - there's a bunch of text as well,
mixed in. Perhaps though I can try cleaning the text out... it's a thought,
will give it a go and post back.
