Imported messages show plain text html code

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I've imported my outlook pst files into entourage (via thunderbird), but when i go to my imported emails in entourage, all i see is html code of the message, instead of the nicely formatted email messages. How do i fix this? Please help...
