Imported .mpp file does not follow Enterprise Global setting

Ryan

Dear all,

After connecting to my project server, I tried to import a .mpp file using
"Tools->Enterprise Options->Import Project to Enterprise". After that, I
found that the project setting does not follow the Enterprise Global template
setting. Instead, it seems like it follows the one from the .mpp file. Does
anyone know how to make it use Enterprise Gobal setting after importing?

Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan:

You cannot set Tools > Options settings through the Enterprise Global. These
can be set, however, in template files. You are seeing the normal system
behavior. The imported plan will follow the the Enterprise work schedule
unless you've enabled local base calendars.

The project-specific options you specify in the Options dialog in the
Enterprise Global file do not impact ANY projects. Instead, the Enterprise
Global is your organization's "library" of custom enterprise objects, such
as Views, Tables, Filters, Groups, etc. Hope this helps.
