Importing A PDF Document Into Excel 2003

Greetings,

Is there anyway to import a pdf document into An Excel spreadsheet?

I have a form that needs to be filled out every month from the
calculations in my spreadsheet. Currently I have to print out the pdf
and then reprint it with only the data. There has got to be a better
way!

Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.

TIA

Since PDF is a proprietary file format from Adobe, Excel doesn't come with a
built-in importer. To my knowledge, no such thing exists, although Adobe may
have something.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hey Dante,

I appreciate the reply. After much searching, it seems that you are
right. I can get data out of a pdf, but I can't get a pdf form into
Excel.

I will check with Adobe and what they have.

There are several software that will convert PDF to text or to Word format,
you might be able to use that

Hey Peo,

I found several. They do not allow me to take the pdf form and put it
into an Excel spreadsheet. I then need to link my data with the
various fields in the form and then print the filled out form. The
ones I looked at could only convert data or text in columns, not what
I need.

I talked the people over at adobe and they said for $495 I can get
Adobe Pro 6.0 which will let me use Adobe to link the data from Excel
into the fields on the Adobe form. They also suggested that I
download the 30 day free trial. I am going to see if that will allow
me to do what I need and hopefully I will only need it once to set up
the links and then run from then on without the Adobe Pro 6.0.

We shall see.
