Importing Contact lists and other pst files

I'm having difficulty importing my Outlook Express contact list to Outlook.
I have the files on a DVD.

You have to configure OE with the data on the same PC OL is installed on
Export msgs from OE to OL
Import address book in OL
PS as far as I'm aware the OE contacts list is contained in the Windows
Address Book - the *.wab file -

Vince Averello [MVP - Outlook]

Copy the file on to your hard drive, remove the read-only attribute then
open it using the File menu > Open > Outlook Data File. Drag/Drop what you
need. PSTs need to be writeable to be opened..

An Outlook Express file is not an Outlook data file.
Me thinks you were doing a bit of speed reading :)
