Importing .csv files to Access 2003 database

I am unable to import csv files into access 2003.
This worked fine last week, but now after I select the csv file from the
import dialog, Access just returns silently - doing nothing.
Any hints? I tried this many times.

I had to repair Access ("Detect and Repair..." from the Help menu) and now it
works.
I wonder what would cause Access to (partially) stop fuctioning like that ?

I've had exactly the same thing.

Access has all kinds of interesting bugs like that. It's what makes
developing in it so interesting.
