Importing data from a file

I want to import data from a file into an acces table for
analysis but I only know part of the file name. I know
where the file resides and can do this manually but the
code knows only part of the name that is from another
table. The file has additional data in the name that is
not consistant therefore I cannot create the proper name.

How do I find the file with only part of the file name
using vb?
