Importing data off the internet

I am helping a friend with an Access database. He wants, in the most
efficient way, to pull data off his bank account via the internet and import
it into the database. I realize he could download it, fix it up in excel,
then import it. but my guess is their is a much more automated way - I have
no experience with this so any help is greatly apprecaited.
