Importing EPS files into Word

G

George

Hi everyone,

I have been told that if you import an EPS file into Word
using the EPS filter, Word will maintain the original
color space. For exmple, if the original EPS contained
Pantone matched colors, this information is retained.

Does anyone know if this is true? I need to send documents
to outside print suppliers and have been told that Word
isn't a good tool for this.

Thanks,

George

G'day "George" <[email protected]>,

I'd agree with the suggestion that Word is not the best at this. I
find it difficult to believe it deals with Pantones when it cant even
get CMYK right.
