I've written a little program that imports Excel files. However, I have
discovered that when there is an error in the Excel file (duplicate primary
keys, wrong data types, etc.), Access automatically creates a table filled
with the error information.
I intend to release this application in a format in which tables cannot be
edited directly at all (similer to MDE format). If users periodically mess
up while importing (and we know they will), the database will fill up with
tables the user is not even aware of.
Is there any way to keep Access from automatically generating tables... or
any other database objects, for that matter?
Thanks!
