Importing exporting Distribution lists

Hi I have just gotten outlook 2003. I am trying to export a lengthy distribution list to a coworker. I can copy it into a text file as an attachment but I am trying to avoid entering the all the information over. The recepient has outlook also either 2002 or 2003. How do I import export this

Don't import/export. Create a new PST file, selecting 97-2002 format,
create a new Contacts folder in that and copy the distribution list and all
its members to that folder. Close the PST and copy it top a diskette. Give
the diskette to your coworker. Have them open that PST file in their
Outlook and copy the contents of its Contact folder to their Contact folder.
All done.

Won't work and it is total overkill to send an entire PST file when the user
only wants to transfer a DL.

To the original poster: Insert the DL as an Outlook Item in a message in RTF
format. Send it to the recipient. The recipient need only open it and save
it to put it into their message store.

The PST will be small, since the only thing in it is a Contacts folder with
a few entries.

I wish I knew why not. I just know from experience that DL's are the most
fragile, buggy element in all of Outlook. They simply do not survive
transfer by any other method than the one I posted, although yours has the
most potential and may well work for some users, depending on their version
and message store.

Hell, DL's barely survive from one day to the next. Ever notice how well the
"Update Now" button works? Most of us abandoned DL's long ago in favor of
Categories or Contacts Subfolders or other options that actually work.
