Importing from earlier version

I am trying to import my Inbox from an old backed up version (outlook 98)
inti outlook 2001. I am unable to see the folders. I am also unable to
import.

Can anyone help?

1) How did you save the Inbox? 2) What file are you trying to import? 3)
What happens when you try (i.e., error messages?) 4) Is this on a Mac (the
only platform I know to have used Outlook 2001 - there certainly was no PC
version with that name)?

Please describe step-by-step exactly what you're doing.
