importing from entourage v.x

I just upgraded to Office 2008. I am trying to import my database from v.x into 2008. I go through the steps and select the main identity. It says it imported successfully but nothing shows up in my entourage 2008. Help please?

You will need to manually move over your data. If you removed Office X you
will have to reinstall to do this.

How to manually move your data. (when import fails and/or you need to move
to a new Identity same version or revert to an older version)

In addition, were you having problems with your Entourage X Identity? If
there was corruption, you will have to rebuild your database first.
