importing from other software reports

Have several columns on report. When imported into excel
the columns are separated and the totals are not correctly
aligned under the column. Any advise?

Opening a non-Excel file from Excel generally invokes the text import
wizard. As you try out the various options, you get a preview of how Excel
is breaking it up.
