Whenever I try to Import a Sybase table into access 2000
my machine freezes. I can likn but not download.

Can you create a local table with the desired table structure, and run
an Append query from the linked Sybase table?

It sounds like there's something wrong with your ODBC connection, but
the append might be a usable getaround.
