importing Groups into your address book

E

Elizabeth Noble

Hi,

I have had to change computers on a network. I tried to
transfer my outlook and everything went except the groups
I had created. In my new address book the group names
appear but there are no group members.

I transfered my Outlook by creating a PST file using the
export function then imported it. When I try to just
export the address book from its menu the export option
is greyed out.

Any suggestions as I really do not want to re-enter all
my groups.

Thank you
Liz

If you still have access to the original .PST file, just re-use it on
the new computer instead of importing from it. You should retain your
groups if you do that.

.
That's true, also, the groups do go away. There are
third party tools that will retain your groups for you,
available from zdnet.com and they're about $30.
