We have monthly data imports in many of our databases. We use import specs
to import all of the data. recently we merged two databases and I imported
the import specs from one database to another.
This month, I used the import specs and there were many errors in the merged
database. I then tried to import it into the old database and it worked
fine. What changed? I looked at the specs in the hidden tables and they
look identical.
one thing that sticks in my mind is when I was importing in the merged
database, the preview of the data showed 2 rows of column headings. When I
imported the same file in the other database this didn't happen. thanks in
