Importing issue

I have a big table in excel. I broke it down into 9 seperate tables in order
to make it easier to import in access. Even tha hasn't helped any. I still
can't import the tables. I tried paste append after linking the tables, this
worked for some of the tables and for the other tables I was only able to get
half the records. I am completely furstrated and besides myself. I don't know
what else to do here. any help will be appreciated.

P.s. I am using the file import wizard.

Usually this happens because of data formats. Make sure all data in every
column has the same format, numbers are numbers, text is text, etc.

I'd reccomend an enterprise level ETL tool like DTS or SSIS.

Access isn't reliable enough for ETL.

If you provide more detail, perhaps someone can help.
What is 'big' about your Excel sheet? Does it have more than 255 columns?

What problem/error are you getting when you try to import the tables?
