importing messages from outlook express 5 for Mac to outlook 2001 mac

Hi

An overzealous IT person has altered my Mac at work so
that outlook is now my default mail account. The only
problem is that I have folders set up on my old Outlook
express account full of messages I wish to be able to
access from outlook.

Is there a way of importing from outlook or exporting from
outlook express?

If you were accesing an Exchange server with Outlook Express, just move your
messages onto the server. This will work if the Exchange server supports
IMAP.

Otherwise, you could always email them to yourself. Outlook handles attached
emails just fine. This is not ideal for a large number of emails, however.
