Importing pictures

Amiloo

I work for a custom kitchen cabinet shop. We are in the process of creating
a catalog of the items that we offer. Everything is going well except that I
am not getting consistent results when importing pictures. I have tried
every file type available. I get better results using bitmaps as opposed to
jpeg but still not consistently good.

Any thoughts you have will be appreciated.

Thank you,
Amy

Which version of MS Publisher?

Are you saying the images cannot be
imported or they look bad after importing?

Are all the image files the same resolution?
Or are they assorted from different sources?

If you go to...View / Pictures...is Detailed
Display ticked?

I am using Publisher 2007.

The images that I am using are line drawings. I am not having any trouble
importing them, the problem is the quality. All of the images are from the
same source and created and saved the same way. Most of the images maintain
sharp lines when imported and printed. About 20% of the images that I import
look fine on screen, but when printed have broken or jagged lines.

Yes..All of the images are the same resolution.
Yes.."Detailed Display" is checked.

Thanks again,
Amy

Sounds like a printer issue...maybe
you could find an updated driver.
