Importing Project Duplicates Resource

When I am importing projects, I map the old resource to an enterprise
resource and save the project.
After this, the resource shows up twice in PWA when we view the availability
of a resource.

Any reason why this would happen?

Debbie:

Are you certain that the resource didn't have more than one spelling in the
imported plan. You can map to a resource only once during the import
process. Therefore, Nancy Smith and Nancy S, for example, can't both be
mapped to the same Enterprise Resource. Could this be the nature of your
problem?
