Importing Resources from Project to Excel

I have a worksheet in Excel with resources. When I import the resources into
my Project file (and I select to import resources, not tasks or
relationships), it is wiping out my task relationships! Does anyone know why
this is happening?

Hello Heather,

Are you using Project 2007? What service pack? There were early
reports of importing from Excel causing predecessor/successors loss.
Ensure you are at SP-2.

Thanks Julie - it looks like I have SP1. I'm surprised that I wouldn't get
the service pack update through a Windows update??...

Do you know where I can go to get the latest service pack?

Hi Heather,

You can download SP-2 from:

watch for line breaks in the URL.

Try installing SP-2 then test again and let us know how you get
along.
