First, thanking you in advance.
I am importing certain fields from an Access 2003 dB table using the Import
Wizard within MS Project. Some of the fields are mapping correctly and
importing e.g. Actual Start Date and Task (Name). When I map Duration to
either Duration or Actual Duration or Estimate Duration it is not recognizing
this mapping and setting all imported "Duration" records to 0.
I am mapping as follows:
Access 2003 Field MS Project field
App_Name Name
Design_Start_Date Actual Start
Duration Duration
Note: The "Map Options" on the Import Wizard provide:
[X ]Tasks
[ ]Resources
[ ]Assignments
I am mapping to a table created via a Make Table query. When I check only
Tasks I get through the Wizard but it defaults all Durations to 0 But if I
check more than this option I cannot get through the Wizard. It keeps stating
"The Source table name is required". It is designated but I keep getting
this error.
Thanks!
