Importing Site in FrontPage 2003

Hi Everyone!

I am having issues importing my website into FP 2003...everything was
working fine 2 weeks ago (imported and published back to the live site okay)
and then my hard drive crashed.

I now have a new hard drive and want to resume editing my site...however,
when I go to import my site to FP 2003, backgrounds/borders and headers are
either missing or formatted differently that how it appears on the internet.

I checked my server and they have FP extentions for their sites...but I
also have an FTP server for Ebay listings (which also houses my site).

Can you recommend the best way to get my website back into FP for me to
continue my edits?

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Hi Ron,

Thank you for your quick response. When I go to open the remote site, do I
just select File-->Open and navigate to the site?

I didn't have to do these steps with my old hard drive, so I apologize for
the detailed questions (out old webmaster just taught me to use the import).

Thanks!

Hi Kathleen,

Thanks for the response. So I tried to do File--> Open Site and was met
with an error message that said:
<the website> isn't accessable. The folder may be located in an unavailable
location, protected with a password or contains \ or /.

I have the user name and password for my site, so I don't understand why it
isn't prompting me to give that to access my site.

This is a brand new hard drive and I don't have any files stored on it for
the website...is there a step in between that I need to do to be able to
access the site?

Thanks so much!
Jennifer
