Importing to a Linked Table

Any help is appreciated. I have a linked table from an ACCESS DB to a SQL
2000 table. I want to import data from and Excel SS to the SQL table using
ACCESS as the carrier. I get an error message from ACCESS saying the import
didn't complete. I know I can directly import from the SS from SQL, but I
need to provide the importing of the data from the SS to an end user that
doesn't have SQL on their desktop.

I have successfully tested directly importing the SS into the SQL table. I
have checked field lengths and column names.

Any ideas? Thanks
