IMPORTING WIN OFFICE TEMPLATES TO MAC OFFICE TEMPLATES

I have been sorely frustrated by the sparsity of Mac Office
templates. I found Office for PC templates a great toool; however,
now that I have changed to Mac, I have found I can use/download next-
to-none of the Office templates designed for PC. Is there a way to
import them in a way in which Mac & MS can, "talk" on the website?

IIRC, the MS web site may tell you that you can't automatically download
the templates since you're not using a compatible browser. You are,
however, given the option to download them manually (I don't recall the
exact mechanism).

MS bundles the WinOffice templates as .cab files. If you unpack them
(e..g, with Stuffit Expander), they should work fine, as long as they
don't have incompatible features (e.g., ActiveX controls).

Save the templates in your Templates folder so that you can use them via
File/Project Gallery

It's a bit of a fiddle, but you can do it :)
