would anyone know how i can convert a WHOLE access database to excel...and
how i can upload the WHOLE database agin form excel to access after editing
of records has been done.

What do you mean by "a WHOLE access database"?

A properly designed database is going to have a number of tables, all
interrelated. It's also likely to have queries, forms, reports, macros and
VBA code. You could export each table to a separate sheet in Excel (check
out the TransferSpreadsheet method in the Help file), but you can't export
the other "application" stuff.
