Impossible to Delete some Old Contacts - Unknown Error

When trying to delete some of my very old contacts I get the message "The
messaging interface has returned an unknown error ..." - it is impossible for
me to delete these contacts.

This occurs in Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2007 beta.

Scanpst.exe does not solve the problem.

Is there a suggested solution?
