In office 12 (2007) it is missing the option to search in many files/folders
for an expresion.
In old office (11) it was posible trough File>Open>Tools>Search - then you
can select folders and filetypes to search words in them.
I want this feuture back! I need it!
How can i bring the File Search dialog ? The tools on Office 12 does not
have search!

Hi Dave,

Microsoft removed that internal feature from Office for 2007.

For the 2007 Office system the external search features are now provided by the Windows Desktop Search team and their tools.
Windows Desktop Search 3.0 (a download) works with MS Office 2007.
