In Outlook 2003, I cannot get mail--"an object could not be found

I do not understand the error message "Cannot find object" to send mail via
Outlook. What am I supposed to be looking to solve my problem. I am using
Outlook 2003.

Do you get that error when you send or when you try to receive or ?

What kind of mail account do you have? POP? IMAP?
