In OUTLOOK 2003, why does the senders name appear on the" To:" line when sending Bcc: emails?

In OUTLOOK 2003, why does the sender's name appear on the" To:" line if you
leave it blank when addressing the email? Is there any way to have the
recipient see just his/her name from the Bcc: line appear there?

Thanks

Because some mail clients will populate the To field with the From field
when receiving an email with no To or CC fields. It isn't a sending issue,
afaik, it's a receiving issue.

As for how to do what you'd like, you'll need to do a mail merge. Check
the Help for instructions.
