In Power Point, how do I set up a default time for each slide?

When setting up a continously running slide show, I want it to stay on each
slide for about 20 seconds.

In Slide Sorter View, you can select all the slides and then set the
slide transition to Automatically after 20 seconds.

Choose auto transition after 20 secs and click Apply to All? Does that not
work for you. If you don't know how please let us know which version you have.
