In PPT, how do I use diff templates for diff slides?

I want to apply different design templates to different slides within the
same presentation. Whenever I apply a design template, it changes every slide
in the presentation.

Hello Greg,
If you are using PPT 2003 the slide sorter should be available so that
you can select which slides you choose to have additional templates
applied. In the slide design pane find the other template and use the
down arrow the make the decisions for application.
Some earlier versions only allow one template per presentation.
