In PPT, in drawings, how do you keep your place when deleting?

I am in a large drawing, boxes and lines, when I delete a line, it refreshes
in another spot. How do I get it to stay in the place where I delete the
line or box?

Hi

Are you using 2007? Are you editing zoomed in and when you do anything the
slide re-centres? If so you've come across a known bug. There has been a
hotfix released:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/954895/en-us

Unfortunately, the nature of a hotfix means that it may not work for you -
hope it does

If you are having a different problem please give us a few more details.
