In Word 2003 Can't See Headers & Footers in Print Layout

Unlike other versions of Microsoft Word, the headers & footers will not
appear in a document I'm typing unless and until I click on Print Preview.

How can I get Headers & Footers to appear in a document in Print Preview?

Move the mouse cursor over a page break until the cursor changes to to
opposed vertical arrows with a tooltip text of "Show white space" then Left
click.
