Inability to preview in grayscale

I've been working on a powerpoint presentation using grayscale settings, but
when I preview my powerpoint, the colors of the pictures and the entire
powerpoint is in not in grayscale.

Changing the view to greyscale / B&W doesn't change the slide show
presentation to greyscale. Its meant as a preview to how the show will PRINT
in greyscale.
